In the late 80s some friends of ours convinced us to buy a Goldwing motorcycle and travel with them. So to start out with, we bought an inexpensive one to take our first trip. We loved it! Came home and sold the bike and bought a more refined version. I became so enamered with the whole concept of Goldwings and touring on a motorcycle. I even join the "Goldwing Road Riders Assoc. ". Then I sought out and joined the local chapter of the GWRRA. After I had attended 2 chapter meetings, it was very apparent to me that the fact that I owned a Goldwing and they owned a Goldwing did not necessarily make us socially compatable. I never went back... ... ... . With that background in mind, you may begin to understand my mixed emotions as I motored toward my FIRST TDR get together. WOW..... was I pleasantly surprised! The nicest bunch of folk I have ever camped with. Now I am sure that somewhere in this organization there is a Horse's A$$. (It may even be me and I don't even recognize it. ) But thus far, I ain't found 'em. It was a wonderful time together and I look forward to being at the one in the fall. Thanx to all for a great time!!!!!!

If you meet me, you will probably think you found the Horses's Azz that you mentioned. At least that's what MGM would tell you.

I've found that most of the Cummins/Dodge crowd are good folks and they're fun to be around. I just wish I could get to more of our get-to-gethers.
