Don asks, "Why would HVAC go to another dyno and not the one at DD for free"???
Answer... I did not GO to ANY dyno. I was not part of any SHOW. I did not PLAN to dyno at all.
I was primarily in Las Vegas to O-ring MADDOG's
head and deck. That's right, he brought his 12v engine all the way to Las Vegas so we could work on it at Silverstate Motorsports. And that is what we did, until he got a call on his cell phone
and had to leave imediately to return home. So, after we sent Richard on his way I had time to spare, and we rolled the truck up on the dynojet. This would be the same one that was used by several others over the weekend, starting with Bully Dog, Jim Fuller (?), etc. This would be the same dyno that was used last year during May Madness, and the cross brand dyno day that preceeded May Madness last year. This would also be the same dyno that Joe Donnelly promotes as the the closest thing to horsepower reality as he has spent many hours on this dyno testing plates etc.
QUOTE: "The idea here was to have everyone on the same dyno"
Whose Idea? Seems I was left outta the loop although I had scheduled my time elsewhere.

Sorry things didn't work out like you would have preferred Don. I haven't dynoed for over a year now, that's how important it is to me. I make my progress on the drag strip now. That's how I judge my truck at this point in its evolution. I DID plan to be at the track and we were. We ran 12. 80 @ 108 mph with #2 only. This would contrast with a truck we raced that was leaving in 4x4 with a boat load of Nos running 12. 55 at 111 mph.
BTW, plenty of people saw what we got. Both at the dyno and at the strip. I understand there will be sceptics. The first one (three years ago) was Joe Donnelly
