Yes. I used a piece of fishing line and sawed through the glue and then some WD40 to finish removing it.

Did both, got rid of the chrome and went with the decals from the old sport.

I used a heat gun to losen the emblems and the fishing line to "saw" the emblem off. After that I used a 3M stripe removal wheel (attach to power drill) to get the thick tape off. Then I used some Goo-Gone to get the residual glue off. Worked great!



If you are just trying to remove decals then the 3M wheel would work great by itself.
