I have the 2. 5" coils. The back is raised about an inch too, but it's close to what your looking for. Just look in my Reader's Rigs.

Here is mine with SkyJacker D25 springs, lower control arms and dual shock kit. No lift in the rear. I feel it's a hair high in the front compared to the rear right now but it's only been on for 6 weeks and I expect a little settling.

My plan is to replace the rear springs with National springs and remove the rather large lift block. Thaat's why I didnt add an add-a-leaf.

Tires are 315/70r17's on 17X9" Eagle wheels.

Q for Mactruck

Mactruck,

I'm about to voyage down the same journey... . D25 springs and dual shocks (+ball joints & brakes).

What brand/model shocks are you running? How is the ride?

What was your reason for replacing the lower control arms (assuming with a Skyjacker unit?)?

Thanks!

I'm using the 5100 series Bilsteins. The ride is much better than my POS Stock Shocks;) They have the new Zinc coating which replaces the old (and ugly) Yellow and Blue color. They are a little longer for the leveling kit.

When the front end is raised it tends to send the rear axle back towards the fenders by about an inch. The lower replacement control arms are a little longer to reposition the front axle more forward so it looks centered in the wheel well. I did use the SJ control arm but it's also available from DT products.

Also if you are considering this route Replace the trac bar with the DT trac bar. After you lift the front end your front axle will stick out about 1" out on the drivers side. Using this trac bar will give you the ability to reposition the front axle after the lift.

JMHO Good Luck ;)

Added on edit: Hollywud. Got your PM

I got ALL of the parts necessary (except the trac bar) from Jack-It out of Utah. Nice people to deal with.

Thanks, again!!!

Just realized I need to update my auto-sig... ... I installed a DT track bar about a month ago. You can't believe how much my truck really needed it... . my OEM was shot!!!

Hollywud

I just went through this hole install mentioned above. Make sure what ever shocks you get are the right length. I run the Rancho's and am happy but my current ones are to short, I was originally using the spacer and was sent the wrong shocks but did not realize this until I put the springs in and they won't reach. Good luck... ... . I also purchased alot of goods from Jackit, they had whatever I needed in stock and shipped to my door in 2 days. Dwayne... ...

Mactruck thanks again huh... ... . I'll post some pics soon when I get my tires on... ... .

Here is a quick one

I'll take some better ones later. This is a close up to show the links. I have a 9000 and 5000 shock, if to ruff I will dummy the 5000.

Mactruck,

Do you have Stillen/Street Scene Fender Flares on your truck? If so do you have some additional pictures of your truck with the flares?

D25 skyjackers and Bilstiens everything else is still stock.

I have pictures of my truck with 2 1/2" coils in front and 4 1/2" add-a-leafs in the back if you want to see them, but I will need some help posting them.
