David is right, measured them myself- someone could have got 8. 5 if they measured the outside rather than where the bead seats. 7. 5" is confirmed for the spare, can't comment on the chrome steelies.

what's the perceived benefit of new control arms for a mild 2" lift???

Is there a slightly stiffer spring available for the 2" lift? About to hang a prerunner bumper and winch up there to fix the damage after stuffing an ignorant Chevy driver- Pics to follow on the prerunner bumper.

Last night i did an experiement with my truck and i found that there is not enough room on the stock shock with the 315's and 2" leveling kit.

I am curious as to why there's not enough "room" and what experiment you used to determine this? I am not being derrogatory . . just very curious?? I'm not a suspension genius but I've lifted and driven quite a few vehicles in my time. All the level kit does is render the shocks a tad too short? How is this not enough room? A shock that is slightly shorter than needed will not cause this bouncing unless the shock is bad... . so unless the shock is hanging up somewhere due to the level kit I don;t see how it causes this "problem" of not enough room and bouncing ensues?

NO RUBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D Well i put 315's on yesterday. NO RUBOo. I just hope after aligning it on Monday it will still be that way. It is raining here now so I wont be able to take pictures until Wednesday. BUT IT LOOKS Awesome:) Thanks to all who has put their 2 CENTS IN.

Call Kent at T-rex engineering

He sells his springs separately now and is great to deal with.

If you didn't put a lift on it then you should not need to align it with new tires... the tires don;t effect the suspension or steering geometry at all... just gives you a couple inches of overall ground clearance.

I have the 2" tuff country also. No rub, except when I back up around a corner fast. I can make it rub on the valance under the front. I have gotten that bounce going when hauling a heavy load on a bumpy freeway. I need shocks. The factory's are junk. Can't decide 9000s or bilsteins, but a little longer than stock.

I HAVE RS9000 ON MINE AND STILL GET THE BOUNCE

PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF IT GUYS!!!!!!!!
