Leveling kits

I'm looking at getting a leveling kit for my truck. I have a 04. 5 2500 4x4 CTD and was thinking about a 2" leveling kit. This way can keep my stock shocks. What everyones opinion?

Not to sound like a tool but I think that noone will notice the half inch difference. I would go with whichever is the best balance of cost/function.

I put a 2. 5" leveling kit in my GF's '05 3500. We should've gone with the 2", but yes, stock shocks and changed nothing else. BTW, the truck looks great now with the 35's.

When using a level kit the stock shocks on your truck will top out and over time will eventually ruin them. Not to mention the fact that the stock components are junk any-ways. Whats sad is that most guys don't know, or haven't experienced a good ride in a long time, so they think the stock shocks are worth sticking with. I have had three trucks to date all of which I have change the shocks with in 10k miles. Trust me you will be amazed in the ride difference!!!!

I changed my shocks to Bilstein 5100's. Note: I changed all four shocks when I installed my level it (Lorenz). I also added air-bags (Pac Brake) in the rear which actually improved my ride unloaded and loaded.
