Leyland diesel ?????

I've found a little car with a 1800 Leyland diesel. Can't find much info on this engine, anyone know it.

It's a British made engine. Used alot for generators and small cars. Some were used in Land Rovers but most of the 1500 and 1800 engines used in autos were used for taxis. I believe the old MGB even came with a Diesel version that used the 1800.

Thanks for the reply. There was a little MG on ebay with the Leyland in it. I did not get it, but I suspect the winner has a nice car.
