Question? Engine Brake Owners!!!

I just purchased a case of LF3894 Stratapore filters. The price was $7. 61 each so I decided to buy a case. Lo and behold, there is a $5 rebate coupon for a case purchase. The store is the local Peterbilt shop, Redwood Reliance Peterbilt. They also have a store in Windsor for you Northern CA guys. So when any of you purchase filters check at your local big rig shop. Hard to beat their prices.

12 in a case. I usually pay about $8 for the Stratapore at their shop. I was surprised at the price. The rebate is for a case. That also surprised me. A Peterbilt shop is not exactly like shopping at Safeway or something like that.

Wow you guys are finding some great prices. Last case I bought was $8. 80 each. I will have to try a different big rig shop next time.

Don't forget tractor dealers.

If they don't stock what you want, they may order at a good price. Around Jan or so, a lot of them run specials on case lots of filters, etc.

Filter Prices

I got mine at Cummins Southern Plains. Arlington, TX and (Far East Dallas) Mesquite, TX - I was quite pleased with prices. 6. 15 for oil filter and 11. 50 for fuel filter for my 2k 4*4. I have owned it a little over 3 years with 60K miles and the prices of filters have been dropping steadily over that time. Oil filter was 8. 60 (approx) and Fuel filter was 13. 50 3 years ago. and it goes w/o says any of these prices beat the heck out of the Dodge house.

Also these prices were 1-3 at a time. No case purchases.

I just bought 3 oil and 3 fuel flters at a small diesel shop in town. 7. 14 for the oil and 10. 25 for the fuel. I checked all over the internet and well, wasn't even close... enough said.
