I was given a Fleetguard LF3935 filter still in the shrink wrap, what does it go to? I must be stupid or blind but I cant find that number listed for a CTD. Any ideas?

TIA,

TD

I got one still in the shrink wrap too, its a oil filter. I'm worried about the part number too but the guy at cummins said it was for our application.

Just came from my local Diesel shop. I ask for a filter for a 98. 5 24 valve ISB they gave me a LF3349. They called the Cummings Rep and he said that it superceded the LF3935. He also said that the LF3349 is going to be superceded by a LF3970. Now I'm confused:confused:

Answers received at Parts counters vary greatly.

Call Fleetguard at 1-800-22FILTER.

Ask them what the "best" filter they make for the 24V engine is.

If they DON'T say LF3894, Stratapore, then please report back!
