How long could I expect to suspension to last on a 2500 4x4? I mean before you start replacing parts of it. Thanks

My tie rod ends were ok, but the track bar ball joint (on the frame/driver's side) was shot at 105K. Also, the driver's side upper ball joint was wasted.



I've pulled a trailer about 30-40% of the mileage and did a little washboard dirt roads about 2x a year . . nothing serious. Look for the thread "My Steering Sucks ... " for info on how to check to see if parts are worn.

I have 335k and I run on about 12 miles of gravel a day... replaced track-bar and one ball joint at 330k

Mine has between 140-160K on it, depending on how a guy compensates for the bigger meats.



Everything original on the front end--even the track bar.
