Lift blocks front

Is there a 1 1/2" to 2" spacer block for the front. I might be looking at this wrong , so, I want to raise the front but dont want to change the shocks or any track type bars or suspention parts. I will put after market shocks on, not sure on type. New shocks would be the right time to get the right length, so, type and part number would be great. I read along time back about 1 ton shocks on 3/4 ton, being a better shock, what that about. I have had other trucks with poly bushings and dont care for so thats why I dont want to change front end parts. To hard a ride. I just want some ground clearance up front as I kit the dump stops now and its not hard use off road. Thanks.

2. 5" coils from Skyjacker is the answer yer lookin' fer,you can use the stock shocks,and there's no other modifications you need to make,just switch 'em. They level it out and you get added travel that you WON'T get with spacers. I heard Summit Racing has them,but not on their site,ya' gotta' call 'em. RAMTHIS1, Nice looking rig. Do you know if skyjacker has overleangth springs for 2WD? My 96 3500 2WD would look a little better with about 1 1/2 inch more of front lift. Skyjacker must have a web site but I haven't looked for it as yet. Are you satisfied with the quality of the spring? What kind of ride do you get compared to stock?

Tuff Country sells a 2" leveling kit (bolt-in steel spacer) that actually measures about 1. 75". I used this in my own custom application for 3" of lift. I found that they stock shocks were much too short for this amount of lift - may be O. K. for 2" or less. I have never bottomed the suspension even without extending the jounce bumpers - you do want to make sure that they hit before the coils are completely compressed. If you like the stock ride and don't need longer wheel travel for off-road this may be an option. Not trying to start a :-{} but just a different perspective.

dunno about 2 leggin' springs,my springs have been on for over a year and no sign of sagging, I'm real happy with them. The ride,I didn't notice any differance between the two springs,until I put the quad shocks on,then it stiffend it up,I like it alot better,it doesn't have that floatyness anymore.

If your only going 2", a coil spacer would work just fine. You could still use your stock length shocks if you don't do any hard off-road use. If you decide to go with new coils, you won't get any extra wheel travel with the stock length shocks on. Compression would still be at bump stops, extension would be limited to extended shock length. Also, even 2'' of lift will shift you axle off center a little. Not enough to worry about. Truck will track a little sideways going down the road. I've had a spacer in my truck since 94. No company made a lift back then. I made my own spacer out of brass on a lathe. Still in there, with 37" tires, (see pics). No problems all this time. Either setup will work for you.

Dayton parts make a set of super duty coils for the front that lift about 1 1/2" and hold more wieght such as a plow or some more wieght if your a sled pullin

If cost is a factor, the 2" spring pocket extensions from Jack-it would be hard to beat. I measured before and after and got 2. 5 inches, after settling. Install was very easy. Stock shocks used to maintain ride. Very happy with quality. 119$
