5th wheel vs 31 ft. M/H ?

lifted 5r

I seriously doubt it, there is a tsb from dodge to lower the rear end on a stock truck to accomodate some 5th wheel trailers. you might be all right with the 35' tires on the stock rear suspension. (that is what my intent is with my truck). Lift the front to level it and run your tires, they should fit fine at that point.

It depends on the trailer too. My truck is too high stock, others I've seen with different trailers are OK. I personally wouldn't consider larger tires and a lift to pull a 5w, but you could have the trailer suspension altered to match the extra height of thr truck. That would make your trailer pretty tall (and funny looking too)

I had to flip the axles on my 33' Rampage toyhauler just to sit level with my stock 4x4. Now my 5er is almost 14' high at the vents, but sits perfectly level with my truck and gives me good clearance for the trips to the desert and mountains. I would not want my trailer any higher than it is, and I think that it would still be nose up if hitched to a truck like you are describing.

I was thinking about the 2" front lift, but with the 2000# pin weight of the toyhauler I'd be doing a wheelie all the way to the dirt :D

Here's what it looks like now... ..... Truck and Rampage
