Lift Kit for 04' diesel

Neighbor has an 04 QC Diesel. Wants to lift it 4". He had a place that was going to do it. But when they saw if was a Diesel they said that due the weight difference of the Diesel over a Gas model they couldn't do it. Does any one know of a shop in California, Arzonia or maybe even Nevada that can do this?
