No blocks in front............

Never, ever. Are you trying to level your ride out, or actually lift it? Reason I ask is that if you are running original springs in your truck, chances are they are sagging quite a bit, especially the fronts. Check out how much distance you have between the bumpstops and the springs on the front. Skyjacker makes a 2-1/2" spring, diesel weight rated, for the front. Most people slap 'em on just to get leveled out front to rear. That and they ride really good compared to the stock springs, especially if your constantly bottoming out on your stops.

I know this doesn't particularly answer your questions, but get us a little more info and somebody(s) will come up with some solution(s).

BTW... ..... For me, no... ... . installing a spring lift isn't hard at all, but I have all the air and hand tools for the job, plus a nice shop to work in. YMMV
