Had to go pick up a car this weekend and was changing oil & filter, fuel filter and other maintenance on Friday nite, so I figured it was time to check fuel pressure again. 3 psi @ idle and 0 on the road so the Dodge got parked right then and there. Took the wife's 98 on the trip and 250 miles from home and pouring rain the fuel return line behind the filter housing splits, joy of joys. So a little road side repair, thanks to a couple guys at a farm where I stopped had a chunk of 5/16 hose, we got back on the road.
Put a new lift pump on and checked pressure, 9 psi @ idle and 5 psi under load. Not too great of numbers, I suppose I have to recheck with another gauge and see whats up. More wrenching, the saga continues.
