Not sure how to set up a poll. There are a few variables involved. Fuel additives, geographic location like colder climates as opposed to warmer and the use of #1 fuel. Short hops as opposed to long runs. Bombed or not bombed. Don't know if load would be a factor. Can't see the pump working any harder, it should just sit there and run. I would think it would like more volume through it. Probably a lot that I haven't thought about.

I bought my truck used and don't know if the pump had been replaced before I got it. It has 60K on it and the pump LOOKED orginal but I can't say for sure.

Any statistics gurus out there? Was my poor subject:confused:

Normal pump lifespan

Another variable to consider for a poll would be normal pump life miles. Some of you guys are putting a lot of miles on these engines. Is there a certain number of miles where pumps start failing? I've heard lots of complaints about early failures. How long should these pumps be lasting?
