Considering the factory lift pump is made by Carter also, if it fits, yes. The factory pumps have 12mm threads for the banjo bolts, and a Carter from Summitt, etc. has 3/8" SAE pipe threads. :D

The factory lift pump and the Carter pump is exactly the same except for the input and out pipe threads (just like Supermod56 said). Not sure what you mean about those higher priced after market setups though.

The FASS has a 144 GPH fuel pump on it, which is far greater than the factory lift pump, which can easily support 450-500hp applications. The best peforming factory system (at least on the Dodge chasis with an ISB) can barely support a 235hp app for around 1 year. I went through 8 lift pumps in 2 years before I got so fed up with the poor design, that I went with the FASS. No matter how hard I push on the loud pedal, I can never get the gauge to read below 14 psi; it sits at 16psi on idle.
