Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Lift pump for 1995

Have not been able to correct low power on my truck as of today. Just have not had time to work on truck. Now have new lift pump to install. Is a leak on ours, have not found correct "O" ring to repair. Also have new over flow valve installed. Found broken plastic line, runs from AFC to manifold. Not sure if I will replace with new Cummins part or try to do some thing better. My question is, the new lift pump is made in China. Are they a problem or is there another source? This new lift pump came from, Geno's! Looking for opinions. TIA jps

I've got one of the China made lift pumps from Geno's on my 95. Have 20k miles on it so far with no problems.

Thanks for the reply, Gary. Guess I'll use it. Would feel better if it were USA made!! Having a heck of a time with tight fittings on lift pump! Were yours that tight?? Not easy to get at. Guess I'll just have to keep removing things till we can get to it. jps

Gary, do you have a fuel pressure gauge? If so, what pressures are you showing? jps

Replace the mounting bolts with studs also. You'll be surprised how much easier it makes the job.

Ordered pump from Geno's. They forgot to put studs in order. Will be coming in mail, soon, I hope!! jps
