Well I am not surprized by the responce.

My lift pump was 14psi new and it has been going south for a while. It is sitting at 8-9psi I was in for a clockspring replacement and told the dealer my concerns and showed him the psi on my gauge. Long story short they said their guage shows 10-11psi

I said that still doesn't fix the problem so they contacted DC tech that gives the guidelines to get warranty parts so I was told ,this is what I was told "IF the truck does not run bad or any code has been tripped or service light has not come on they will not replace the pump" I asked what about the min. 10psi at a idle it does not matter I was told.

I am going to put a mechanical gauge on to check mine and go from there. I will put a new pump on. I am going to follow up on this just because they ****** me off

I just had to vent

What a crock. They know there is a problem with the pumps. I am going to get a one of www.smokindiesel.com custom fuel systems. It includes a pusher pump, a new lift pump, electrical wiring and relay and all new braided fuel lines to replace the banjo bolts. Check out there site it is reasonable for all you get. Sam

Typical 5 star response. Well, one less chance for them to do more damage than repair to your truck. Lift pump was a fairly short, gratifying job as these things go. The other good thing that if your injector pump ever gives out, you've got it documented that you tried to get them to replace the weak link!
