lift pump pressure gauge

With the apparent problems with the electric lift pump, it seems like having a way to monitor it becomes a neccesity. I've read many of the threads regarding fuel pressure and would like to install one on my 02 CTD.

However, I need the specifics like what brand and type of gauge works well, where to tie it into the system, and put the sending unit. Appears a liquid filled gauge would work with all the talk about gauge fluctuation, etc. Can anyone help? I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks, Tony in Wallace, ID

Go to www.genosgarage.com they carry several different lines of gauges, tapped banjo bolts, A-pillars to fix you right up. They are a good outfit to deal with.

I used a tapped banjo bolt on the bottom of the fuel filter case, attached a 18" grease gun hose, then the sending unit for my fuel pressure gauge.
