Tested pump pressure at the inlet port and had a reading of 6 psi. Turn the ignition off rises to 9 psi and drops obviously to zero. Outlet port test on injection pump truck ran at 7 psi. So my fuel filter isn't plugged. What I am trying to figure out is why I have a little white smoke at start up after the truck is sitting at work all day. I cycle the (wait to start) and the engine light stays on for just a second and I get the white smoke. I never had this problem in the winter just when its been starting to warm up in April and May. On the inlet port test the dodge service manual says 5-7 psi for the transfer pump. The truck runs perfectly fine. Am I being a nervous Nellie? Bought a pump through Cummins and paid $187. . whatever and also purchased a Vulcan relocation kit. Also going to get a fuel pressure gauge. Thought, comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

No codes whatsoever. Except you throw a code when you take the Fuel Delivery relay out when you're checking pressures. P1689
