Lift Pump Question

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong place. Maybe this will work, I want to know if anybody has thought about using 2 of these pumps in Parallel instead of in series. Could it be done and has anyone tried it? I was thinking that maybe the pump would only have to work have as hard to deliver the necessary amount of fuel to get the job done. What do you Fuel Experts say. . Radar Doctor.....

I know it has been done by several members but I don't remember what their results were. Seems like someone thought it was a waste of time and money.
