Well, I didn't get a new lift pump but, I did buy a Carter P4600HP pusher at the local auto parts store for $153CAN. Installed it exactly the same way Steve L. did his, turned out really good. Thanks for the info and the pictures Steve. Then I took it for a run.

My pressures before the install were as follows

starter bump- 10. 5 psi

at idle- 10 psi

cruising at 50 mph- 8. 5 psi

WOT- 4. 5 psi



New pressures with the pusher are

starter bump- 17 psi

at idle- 17 psi

cruising at 50 mph- 15 psi

WOT- 11 psi



I'm pretty happy with those pressures, do they look ok to everyone else? I don't have a permanent fuel press. gauge yet but I will keep an eye on the pressure with my hose and gauge setup every couple of weeks till I get one installed
