Did you ask him why he didn't replace the APPS since it has the APPS code?

Call the Service Manager and report that the truck still had the code for the APPS and the Tech told you he didn't replace it. They should at least clear the code to see if it returns. The "should" just replace the darn thing.

Sure it'll still be covered under warranty?? I sure hope so..... otherwise the truck may get parked for ahwile!

The engine has 100,000 mile warranty, the lift pump is also covered. Lots of VP-44's have been replaced when something else was the problem. Good luck. bg
