I Have 85,000 On My 02. Am I Only One That Has Gone Over 30. 000 Without Needing Acouple Of Lift Pumps Or All Kinds Of Replacement Upgrades

I never did put a lift pump on my 99. Thats not to say that it maybe hadn't been done in the 34,000 miles before I got it though. It has 100,000 mi. on it now.

My 04 made it till 67,000 before it went.

93,564 miles before my lift pump was replaced under warranty.

BTW I have heard of Air Dog and FASS, what is "RASP"?

35,000 trouble-free miles on my stock LP with the added pusher mod so far - about $100 for a system *I* am totally happy with... ;) :D

I have read that you can swap out your lines and fittings while moving the LP back to the frame for about $100. Numerous vendors such as EEP, Haisley PowerbyPool, etc... have kits available that will provide you with the fittings and hoses for a reasonable charge. Some kits come partially pre-assembled, with a diagram, the connections labeled, etc... Some kits also come with a pusher pump.

It seems to me that upgraded plumbing, 15psi in the stock location and 8psi on the frame will carry most people for under $300. The Rasp, Fass, Airdog systems need upgraded plumbing, so a frame mounted pusher for your stock pump with upgraded plumbing might be a way of stepping towards the cost of the high end equipment. You are still somewhat taking your chances with reliability of a pusher pump, but properly configured they seem to last a lot longer than the factory setup.

"what system is 100 bucks"

EASY - one I built myself... ;) :D

Pusher pump was only about $70 - wiring, relay and assorted extras easily kept total at the $100 level - has worked flawlessly to date and 30,000 miles...

Shucks, us 'po folk can't AFFORD those higher-priced do-dads! :D :D

Holy cow! Is that a check valve on the bypass. . ?? So, if I am looking at this correctly, it'll still allow fuel flow to the lift pump, should the Carter decide to go bad. . !? Oo.

Right on. .
