Is your stock lift pump bad yet? If not then you can add a pusher pump down by the tank and make your current pump last a long time. I am selling a pusher pump kit with a filter and mounting bracket. PM for details.

I have added a FASS 150 System to my truck, and I love it its quiter and seems alot stronger through midrange and on up, about the same off the bottom though, It has been a good investment just my opinion and gas milage has also increased :--) ps I have gone through 2 lift pumps and I hope  that I dont have to worry about it anymore!

Here are 222 threads that mention RASP Rasp Search of course there is a lot of junk in there too. Here is a pretty good thread RASP Thread

Personally I like the sounds of the RASP the best. I don't know how many but there are quite a few around here that have installed the RASP and I haven't heard of one failure, someone please correct me if I am wrong. I like the RASP set up because you retain your stock lift pump as a back up but go to a mechanical normal source of fuel. Look into Olee Pooles set-up for the RASP that is ready to install. It's pricey but I believe it is the best.

so Ive been running this 150 fass pump and it works good. It starts hard when the truck is worm and you restart it but if you wait a minute it will start, sometimes even like a ford. but the pressure stays correct so thats all that matters. Pulled the sled with it and it supplied good fuel and I got 3rd place with 2dodges pulling farther than me. Not bad for first time.

pump

yea it seemed that with the stock lift pump the pump would starve for fuel at about 2000 rpms and with this new pump it seems to have more throtle responce and more power.

Has anyone tried the RASP device mentioned in the link from Dieselminded?

I've been using the RASP now for about six months. No complaints. The pump is a great product. No more worries about fuel pressure. There is always ample fuel being delivered to the VP-44, even at WOT. With the RASP setup I have, I even got to keep my stock lift pump as a backup in case the RASP would ever fail (it won't).

IMHO, the RASP is the absolute best lift pump modification/addition one can make to a Cummins. There are no electronic components to fry, and the built in safety with the stock lift pump is unmatched.
