Archived Lift pump

This is 2-ND Times Girlfriend and he needs help so not sure how to word this but here goes.

The lift pump is going fast. This is #6. Does anyone know the new #s for the lift pump from Cummins or Chrysler? I don't want an old one. Well there it is, is there anyone out there that can help?

The lift pump has superceded to a pkg. Wiring harness plumbing and a tank module with pump.



The part number is different for 34 and 35 gallon tank



I understand Cummins has not changed over yet for the pick-ups.

5th lift pump

after installing my 5th lift pump,i added a pusher pump kit from diesel dynamics and have never had anether issue. well worth the 200 bucks,

and could save your injection pump as well. good luck

Had the "in-tank" replacement installed on my 98. 5 24V Dually last week. Work order shows PN to be 5175538-AA. Price $434. 44. Labor $484. 00.



Took a 1000 mile trip immediately thereafter, pressures show approximately half of the numbers from previous external pump installation(s). Fuel quantity indicator shows full for a very (200+ miles) long time before starting to come down. Took it back to dealer and they claim that it is "normal" due to new system using different electrical input system to gauges. Kept it two days just to tell me that they would do nothing to remedy the problem. Truck performs as it did when new, just not satisfied with the answers for the inaccurate fuel quantity indicator.
