Not sure if I have a L. P going south or if it's the guage, isolator or both. Changed the fuel filter Sat. no problems priming after the change every thing was normal. Before the change at idle I had 13lbs of pressure, rock steady. Now after the change I am reading 11lbs at idle, again steady. At 70mph on the freeway it stands steady at 7lbs. I can suck it down below 5lbs at anytime.

I have been having problems with the isolator but that problem results in an increase in the pressure reading. Is the L. P pump going south slowly, maybe there is some air in the line for the guage or the isolator is shot or the guage. I always thought when the L. P died it just quit. Usually after a few starts the pressure returns to normal but not this time I drove over 300 miles after the change and no change in the reading. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

Sounds like your LP is doing about the same as mine was. I have a mechanical gauge and the reading was all over the dial. Installed a new LP, end of problem. Since then, with the help of TDR and Valcan Weld, I have mounted the LP back at the fuel tank. Peice of cake. I am now going too mount a fuel filter with a drain on the bottom, just ahead of the LP on the frame. Comeing from NAPA,less than fifty bucks. Will then be useing two fuel filters.
