Lift Pump

I am glad I paid the extra $2,000. 00 for the 100,000 mile, 75,000 mile power train warrenty because I have used it twice. The service writer Mike at Valley Dodge in Van Nuys has totaly rebuilt my auto trans at 34,000 miles and I havent had one problem with it since, and they have just replaced my lift pump at 63,000 miles ( They did the mod by placeing it in the fuel tank) and this is with the edge and attitude control along with the afe air intake and 5 inch exhaust. Now I have paid for the 35,000 mile and 60,000 mile services to the tune of $2200. 00 total but I am happy with the service and right now I think I'm a little ahead with the trans and lift pump change. I'm just glad that Valley Dodge has a great service manager and they also do great work on the vehicles not like some dealers I've been to.

Not to rain on your parade, but if remember correctly the LP is covered under the emissions warranty which is 100K.

and the trans would have been covered by the three year 36 month. .

I know I havent gotten my monies worth out of my extended warranty but thats probably a good thing.
