I have been reading so much about the failure of the lift pump on 98. 5 and up units. Does this mean if the pump starts to fail the injector pump will also go away because of lack of proper pressure, cooling etc?

Does anyone know what the warranty is on the pump? Why doesn't Dodge recall if there is really a problem? So many questions can anyone help answer some of these? Thanks I love my truck!!!!

AKostman, the short answer is the OE Carter lift pump is an unreliable POS (at best) that should be replaced with something of higher quality which is located as close to the fuel tank pickup as possible.
