this seems to be a common problem, how much does it cost to fix if out of warranty? Is this covered by the 5/100000 engine warr, or the regular warr? Thanks

I priced one today, $324. 00 at dodge, and I was also told that it is covered by the engine warranty 100,000.

Buy it Through Cummins

I paid $91 and some change for my lift pump at the local Cummins dealer. Mine hasn't failed yet and I've got 60,000 miles on the truck but I keep it around just in case.
