The other day I check my fuel pressure with Briar Hoppers gauge and found at WOT that I only had 3 psi, at idle I hae have 12 psi and at mid throttle I have 7 psi. I called up the local dealer told them what I saw. They ordered a lift pump. I am taking it in today but I was told by a friend that when I take my EZ off this will change my WOT reading. Am I going to make a fool of myself when I take this in tonight. I don't have time to check it between now and then. Any ideas out there.

A box can pull your fuel pressure down more because the pump is demanding more fuel. However, an EZ box shouldn't make that much of a difference. When you did your WOT test was it in neutral just revving the motor up or was it driving down the road? The test should be done while driving and I guarantee your pressures would go down further if you didn't do that. Why don't you pull the EZ box, hook up the gauge and see where it's at - it only takes a couple of minutes.

I was driving. I can't hook up the gage. I don't have it here it is at home. I have to get off of work and drive 35 miles this evening to drop the truck off.
