Ed, you are not alone here, there has been alot of pumps tried and alot of pumps failed and IMHO the one we have is the best available as of this time, I am sure I will get alot of comments on that one, but here is my take on it, the pump is ok, it is the set up that is poor because the pump is pulling a vacumn from a long way back to the tank, no pumps like a vacumn but prefer a positive head pressure instead, IMHO the best thing you can do is to buy a pigtail from Cummins and then relocate the OEM pump as far back by the tank as possible then upgrade the lines to eliminate pressure loss.

Yes you can run dual pumps or "pusher pump". But two stock lift pumps would be too much. the one by the tank has to be a 7 psi pump. There are many kits availiable currently.Originally posted by Ed2
