I just received my new lift pump and the Cummins part number is 3990082. Does anyone know anything about this part number compared to part number 3990105? I hope it's the latest pump. It came packaged with the pig tail connector.

There may be a different part number if it's packaged with the pigtail. Part number 3990105 is a pump w/o pigtail.

I just got back from the Peterbilt dealer here in town. Stopped in to check prices on a few things including a lift pump. Part number 3990105 (that's a LP for a Y2K) was $148. 13. Part number 3990082 (the LP, wiring harness, & 2 washers) was the exact same price! I got those prices just walking in off the street without begging. I was also impressed with the facility as well. Nice, neat, modern, and clean.

Got my ... 105 from Freightliner. Some FL have CTD's in them and therefore they have access to C parts system.

Just had the third one installed by dealer under warranty at 45K. this one was putting out 15PSI but had developed a leak out of the bottom.

Those turkeys are going to pay for every one that fails until I get to 100k or 5 years. Then, I will look into replacing it with something that works. I have not had any 0PSI conditions arise due to monitoring with a FP gauge, so I hope that the injection pump will hang in there for a while.
