Lift pumps what gives with all the failures????

I have been on here a short time and had my truck about two weeks. What is with all the failures of the pumps? Is there no fix from Dodge or recall? I guess I need a gauge to know when it is dying. What gives? Thanks! I did a search and was reading about it after seeing so much about it.

No help from Dodge. None forseeable in the near future. Read some more. You'll soon learn the part numbers, where to buy it cheap, and how to replace it yourself. And where to buy fuel pressure gauges. It's been hashed to death in these forums.

Installing a pusher pump at tank and fuel pressure guage seems to be the fix for now.
