Lifted truck for towing....

What kind of impact will putting a 4" lift with 315/70/17's have on my towing capacity. I pull a travel trailer around 10k. See sig for truck specs. Should I have any concerns??

It all depends on the hitch that you use. Have a good custom drop/load distribution hitch made and you should still have full capacity. I have a buudy that has a 6" lift and tows a heavy 30" TT with no issues.

Are you sure you want a 4" lift with just the 315's? They'll fit with no lift. I run 315's and just have a front leveling setup. IMHO, a 4" lift and those tires would just look out of proportion.

Id have to agree with david. Im not sure try running a skinny 36" tire (around 14 inches wide)

IMO, the 3. 73's are a bit tall with the 315's in OD (6th) while pulling. The plus side is that wile in drive (5th) it's much nicer to just cruse in.

Any gears are OK if you turn up the power enough.
