Lifted truck owners !!

What shocks are you guys running?? I have a total of 8 inches of lift with 37's and I was hoping to run Bilsteins , but they don't offer them big enough. I don't want to get crazy with double or triple shocks, just something that works good and looks cool.

You can go cheaper with Rancho 9000's. I've run these on a couple of trucks and trail rigs and have been happy with them. If you want something flashier you could do something like the sway-a-way or fox shocks (yes I mean not coilovers).

Mine came with the Tuff-Country EZ-Ride 4. 5" lift and that had their SX8000 shocks - I like it so far... .

You could get some chrome deutchtech's (spelling) they're not cheap but they do look really good and they work excellent. I'm not sure the p/n or what they call the ones I'm talking about, but a friend of mine has them on his tahoe with 22" custom lift, all springs on 52" Michelins and even it rides "decent".

37" tires with 8" of lift is perfect if you don't want to rub when you articulate.

Talk to Don and Thurnfab! He can build you some rebuildable FOX Shocks, that are custom tuned for yor truck. I am saving up money to eventually buy a set from him. They are not cheap. but they last longer, and are rebuildable. But the best part is, they are fine tuned for your application, not just somthing pulled off a shelf that is designed for many different trucks.

I actually love my new job because I will get to do alot more on saturdays with pulling/racing/etc
