I would like to put a 4-5 inch lift kit on my 2004 dually. I noticed that there are a few companies that make kits for this application. I talked with a few of them, but I can not figure out which one to go with. I will be towing a bumper pull camper and the lift companies that I have talked to said that the lift kit won't effect towing?

My two questions are:

1) Will it be okay to tow with a lift kit?

2) Who makes a real nice lift kit? (need advice can not decide between all the companies  ).

Thanks

Rick

I have had skyjacker in the past, and they make a great kit. Superlift is also good. You could go with Kelderman's air ride lift if money allows. The best advice I have is read about all the companies that you can and do a search on the wed and see if you can pull anything up. Which kits are you looking at?

The Kelderman kit is a little pricey but is not your average lift. Airbags will actually give you a better ride under load than empty. All of the superlift, skyjacker, tuff country lifts that I have had experience with were primarily cosmetic and degraded the ride quality and handling of the vehicle. That is not so with the Kelderman system.

Well I guess I better start saving. I talked with superlift and skyjacker last week, today I talked to Kelderman. The kelderman system seems real nice but it is pricey. I am looking for a lift, but I still want a real nice towing truck. If there is kit that lets me do both for less than $5,000 I would be real happy.
