in need of advice on how to lift the front suspension in order to level the front with the rear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dale.

I have a 2 inch front leveling kit on my '00 3500 and it sits level know both front and rear. The kit is basically spacers or pucks that bolt above the front coil springs. I purchased mine for under $100 and it took no time to install them. Check with the four wheeler companies as most of them make the spacers.

Your right, I noticed that tonite when I came home. Still check with the off-road companies, I see they have front lifts for Fords, they probably have something for your needs.

Well I just removed my 2" spacers on my 2x4. They max out the ball joints and cause early wear. They don't make lifted spindles for the early 2x4's. I've just replaced my second upper BJ in less than 2 years and gone to 1" spacers. The ride is also horrible with 2" spacers. If this has not changed your mind then FabTech has them. Also go with Moog BJ's as these are far superior than what I've had in there before. Don't forget to get a front end alignment.

I have experimented with many different setups on my 02 3500 2wd. The current set up seems to be working the best so far. I have custom coils (from Coil Spring Specialties, about $200) with a higher rate to support the reunel bumper, and the coils provide about 1. 25" lift. The Airlift 1000 air bags ($85) inside the coils reduce the porpoising on expansion joints and allow me to stiffen or soften the front a little depending on conditions. The air bags at full pressure will net another . 5" of lift. Finally, I am running Bilstein shocks in the front. I have tried 4 other brands and they did not perform well.

That is about it.

No one makes a lift kit for the 2500/3500 early models other than coil spacers. You'll even find that no one makes the taller shocks to fit the 2" spacers. Fabtech claims to and even list them, however I've had them on my truck and they were the worst ride.

They were designed for off road prerunner applications. Total crap! I finally went thru the rancho specs and found some 9000's for a Ford 3/4 ton that fit and seem to ride well.

There have been other members who have tried to get a custom run of lifted spindles, but no shops or companies want to lay out the work.
