Does anyone know What bulbs the Lamp out function Monitors? My License plate light blew I replaced and now its out again. I have a late build 03. I've read a ton about the lamp out problems but the License plate light is never mentioned.



Changing the bulb seemed to fix the problem until it blew again. I'm on an extended it road trip and have to get make this stupid chime go away.



Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the License plate light circuit? One side seems to be working fine.

My 4. 5 owners manual says headlight, taillight, brake light and turn signal.

Inspect the socket closely to be sure the bulb has a good physical connection then be sure the housing is not letting water in.



Your lamp out light is more likely brake lamps and or sockets .
