Light group wiring trouble

I have a 4. 5 with the light group. I tried the battery disconnect trick but still don't have vanity lights or glove box light nor push button control on overhead lights. Under hood light works fine. Any ideas?

have you checked fuses?

number 18 for interior lights appears fine. What I don't know is how the light group is fused.

do the lights come on when you open a door?? and can you manually tun on the overhead courtesy lights??

make sure you havn't turned your dash lights down to far. There is a small detent that can make all the lights you describe not work normally.

I found about 4 wires per rear door broken. The lights now come on when you open 3/4 doors. You can't turn the lights on with the overhead switch. I was thinking, it had hail damage and they dropped the headliner. I have a feeling the problem could be related.

I will pull the cab lights and look in. Sorry it took so long for feedback.

Just wanted to bring a little closure on this. Everything is working fine after getting the truck back from hail damage repair. They dropped the headliner and found a harness unhooked. Funny thing they did hail work for me in late 2006 (two times bad luck for me!)and were the last ones to have headliner down.
