Hey guys,
I've done a search of the forums and can't find anything on this. I'm guessing this is a transmission problem, so that is why I am posting here.
I have a 01 2500 4x4 6spd and when I am making slow turns (into a driveway, shopping center, etc) while in gear (usually 3rd and 4th) in 2wd, I feel a grinding in the steering wheel and gas pedal. If I step on the clutch the grinding goes away - this seems to only happen while in gear.
I was under the assumption that the front end was disconnected from the transmission while driving in 2wd. if so, how does the turn of the truck affect the transmission this way? Is this a transmission problem or should I be posting in the other forum for advice.
Thanks in advance for your help!
