Alcoa Rims are the rims after which all most cheapo Aluminum rims are made/copied. They invented the Aluminum Rim. FWIW these rims have a load rating of nearly 3800LBS!!! That's actually MORE weight than our load range E tires can handle!!! They are designed for Load range "G" tires at 110 PSI actually!!! All the Data I state here is listed on the link I posted before...
Accuride Steel Rims have a load rating of just under 3100 Lbs Each. They can hold the cummins just fine... These Alcoa Aluminums will hold even more and well you're paying for it with the co$t too!
I don't know who manufactures the Dodge OEM aluminum rims, it's not alcoa, however. FORD actually still uses Alcoa as their OEM supplier for their current run of rims too. Look on the alcoa site, all the newer rims have 170mm X 8 lug. . you'll also recognize them to be the ones you see on the Super Duty trucks
These rims for our trucks also came OEM on pre super duty F250's, and e250/350 vans as an option... . Gas and Diesel...
Wheels should have at least a 3000 lb load rating to hold up to the cummins imho
