I wanted to add some lighting. I want to add some backup lights. I have used rubber tractor lights on each side on my bigger trucks. Any suggestions as to where to mount on the dually?

I also wanted to add some lights on the bottom like strip clearance lights on the sides or rear. Any ideas? I don't usually add this type of stuff like the side lights but have a bug for it now. Any pictures? Thanks in advance.

I suppose it depends on how bad you want or need the extra lighting, and how handy you are with the tools.

There are kits on the market where they add a small light bar to the receiver part of the hitch. On each side is a small light, that would be an easy kit to install and it may or may not suit your needs.

There are some very good lights on the market that are small (4") and put out several differing light pattern. Piaa,Light force,Hella are all good sources for lighting projects. There are good ,better ,and the best ,categories in the lighting Field it all depends on what you want and what you are willing to pay?

If you are very handy at metal work, it would be possible to "FRENCH" in a set of back-up lights. Or you could buy a bumper with the mounts already installed. On one truck I had, I had brackets that bolted to each side of the trucks hitch, and mounted lights to them, that worked pretty well. You can wire them to always come on with the back-up lights or my favorite, wire them to a inside the cab mounted switch.

The price range for lights of this nature can run from 5-6 dollars to well over 200 dollars.

This is a Buckstop bumper with the recessed lights

Here is a pic of what I did. I moved my trailer hook up, because it is ugly where they put it anyway, and welded up some protection for the lights. They are hella driving lights, I wired them so I can use them anytime, not just in reverse. They mounted to the existing holes under bumper. Welded protection to hitch receiver. More pics in reader rigs. Good luck. :)
