Is there any thing available that would light up the front turning radius . I am planing on adding the sportlights, I do not know if they are any better in that respect , but I have been spoiled by other vechicles that would light the sides up when turning. I am wondering if there are any mini spots that could be cut in and energized by the blinker circuit? Almost ran over a hooker. Thanks RJ

I've almost hit a few old guys limping thru the cross-walk at night myself! I think I'll get out my Maglite in the future, until one of you guys comes up with the magic solution!

I mounted rectangular work lights in the front wheel wells. Just used one of the bolts on the shock tower as the mount. If you wire in to the blinker circuit (with a relay) before the flasher you could energize the circuit when turning. I just have mine running off switches.

RJ2, I just noticed you have a '51 M-37! Great Old Power Wagons aren't they? I had a '42 Military Power Wagon. It looked just like a civilian Dodge pick-up, but was made for the Mil. in '42. It was rated at 1/2 ton, unlike most of the Power Wagons, which were rated higher. But it only had 11" drum brakes, and was a bear to stop in city driving situations. I sold it to a guy who hauled it up to Canada to sit in front of his store.

I am putting new linings and wheel cylinders in now. The brakes at best are horrible by todays standards. Will be putting the discs on the front next. Hows Santa Monica, I use to live in Brentwood.

Yeah, those old Power Wagon brakes are scary. I would have to plan 1/2 block ahead where I wanted to stop!

Were you a member of the Military Vehicles Collector Club when you lived in B'wood? They used to meet off of Mountain View out off the 210 freeway I believe. I used to go out there all the time looking for parts for my Power Wagon. Lotsa ex-military guys, great guys, most of them owned old military trucks.

Santa Monica is great, it is just the fuzzy-thinking left-wingers, the Mexican & Asian Gangbangers, & the homeless drug-addicts who are trying to destroy everything. They are slowly succeeding!

I found some small lights to hook

up . The blinker can is energized by

ground so I will tie this into my new relay.

What color is this wire and where is the

best place to tie into it? Thanks RJ
