Lights Don't Flash When Unlocking

I have an 06 Ram and noticed last night and this morning, that when using the key fab to unlock the truck, the side lights didn't flash? Is there a way to reprogram the truck for this function?

hhhmmm. . mine do, maybe that has to be done with a StarScan tool? If Sag sees this thread, maybe he can elaborate. .

Other than that, you might check to see if your dome light goes off about 15 seconds after opening the door. If it does, unhook your batteries for about 20 minutes... . Ive heard that fixes some interior lighting issues on the 06 models.

My `03 will do the same thing occasionally. The cargo light always comes on, but about once every hundred times using the key fob the driver's side door will unlock without the side lights flashing. If I push it again the lights flash.

My trigger wire was broke of the wire tap

Vehicles will be shipped from the assembly plants with

the park lamp flash feature activated. If desired, this

feature can be disabled by using the following procedure:

1. Perform this operation while standing outside the

vehicle.

2. Press and hold the UNLOCK button on a programmed

(i. e. functional) key fob.

3. Continue to hold the UNLOCK button, wait at least 4

seconds, but no longer than 10 seconds, then press and

hold the LOCK button. Release both buttons at the same

time.

4. To reactivate this feature, repeat the above steps.

Mine does the same thing. I have noticed that it usually doesn't flash when the doors are already unlocked, but always flashes on the 2nd press of the button.
