The rebuild went like clock work. Very easy. But if it didn't work it was all for nothing.

I've always taken vacuum readings using the "Shades of Greenleaf" measurement system.

The scale starts at "thisdon'tsuckabit" then goes to "thiskindofsucks", "this prettymuchsucks", then maxes out at "thisreallysucks".

Check the fitting at the booster, the one the hose connects to. It is a check valve, if it is bad or weak, it will cause you to loose vacuum at low rpms.

I replaced mine last year because it had cracked at the joint.
