Well this week end I Finlay wired in some bumper mounted back up lights and also wired in a back up alarm. I put the back up alarm on the truck because I use it a lot at the fire department and there are always people and kids around. I ran 2 wires from the rear of the truck to the cab and then mounted the switches on the lower dash. The job wasn't to bad but now when I get out of my truck if I'm not careful my knee hits the switch mount. I may have to move it down or to the other side of the dash, but how would I cover up the 3 holes I drilled in the dash? Can I buy factory looking plugs to fit the holes if needed. The back up alarm is wired separately so I can turn it on and off when I want just like the lights. :D :)

"but how would I cover up the 3 holes I drilled in the dash?

Did the switches require 1/2" holes? If so it's a standard plug size and you can get a variety of decent looking plugs for the holes. I find stuff like that in the nuts, bolts, and small parts bins at a local Ace hardware store/pharmacy. Black plastic, chrome, or you might have to paint to match. Many are available in other sizes too.

Hiw I got the three holes

I got the three holes like this two of them are for the switch bracket and the third is to run the wires through. Thanks for the ideas to get the plugs in case I need to move the bracket.
