I had a 04. 5 HO and when you pulled the dimmer stalk you would get high and low in tandem (bright )and good illumination.

My 06 Mega HO does not have that function. It has been disabled from the factory. anyone out there w/ the same experience? The high beams are poor on their own. My lows w/ factory fogs put out more light than highs IMO.

Geno's garage has a brite box kit but don't know if it will fit the O6..... I have it on 2 of my trucks and love it. . . when you pull the high beam switch the low beams stay on... .

I BOMBed the switch on my 03 to stay in that in between position. Sort of like a Brite Box for free. It's a shame the new ones have changed.

I think he is talking about when you hold it between switching.

Yeah... that's the flash to pass feature. Basically when you pull it back, but not quite far enough to turn to high beams, both high and low are on... I think they both stay on even if you pull it on all the way until you let it return to the rest position.

CJ8Rockcrawler , you are right, I just pulled it back for extra bright lights. Not something you would do for extended periods. The 06's do not have this feature at all. I don't know if Geno's carries a Brite Box for the 06

Sometimes I am such a doofus. Okay, most of the time I'm a doofus. For whatever reason I was thinking of the rotary light switch... . NOT the stalk. Sorry about that.
