Lightweight seat options?

Well, it looks like I'm adding to the stable . Found myself a nice '93 reg cab W250 4x4!! Exterior is in pretty good shape, but the seat is pretty torn up inside. I'm trying to keep weight down, so I'm interested in upgraded seating options that won't weigh too much. Not looking for CF racing seats, though . Been considering swapping in second gen seats, but wanted to check and see if there's anything lighter available. Thanks!!

Hope I'm not being too nosy, but why the concern for seat weight? I got a set of 2nd Gen seats last year and they're light enough to pitch around like a medicine ball.

I could talked into putting a set of slicks on and seeing how low the truck can go, right now the best time ive had is a 14. 83 and almost 100mph but that's loose that the 330' mark,,,,,,,,wooohooooo what a ride

Oh, yeah! Did you run in 4wd? Any idea what your truck's current weight is?

BTW, I've heard through the grapevine that there's a red second gen regular cab Dodge that runs 10. 50's out at Edgewater sometimes. Any idea who it is?

Ive heard about the red second gen in the 10's but not sure who it is.



I was in 2wd and leaving with 10psi truck sit's at 6380#'s and i was running old dry mud tires
